KIMBERLY WISWELL AND JAKE REASON JOIN COMPPARTNERS' COMPPROJECTIONS MSA ANALYSES DIVISION

IRVINE, CALIF. (Nov. 18, 2008) — CompPartners, a workers’ compensation managed care organization, has named Kimberly Wiswell as product director, Medicare Set-Asides and Jake Reason as director of CompProjections, its national Medicare Set-Aside division.  CompProjections offers Medicare Set-Aside Analyses (MSAs) and other medical cost projection services to determine appropriate future medical costs over a claimant’s lifetime. 

Most recently, Wiswell ran her own consulting company working with workers’ compensation medical service providers and conducting seminars on Medicare Set-Asides and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).  Her managed care workers’ compensation career includes high-level operational positions with such companies as Fair, Isaac and Company and First Health Priority Services. A member of the National Association of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals, Wiswell is a graduate of California State University in Long Beach, Ca. and of Western State University of Law in Fullerton, Ca.

Reason served as director of technical operations for Coventry Priority Services prior to joining CompPartners.  He also has experience as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and senior claims examiner for a major national health insurance company and is a licensed life and health insurance agent in the State of California. Reason holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from the Graziadio School of Business and Management of Pepperdine University in Malibu, Ca., where he graduated Cum Laude.
